Presents! Firefly & Calaveras!

Hope everyone had a super holiday time and is still having one! I’m off til next week and plan on getting caught up on art projects. Most of my free time lately has been spent making Christmas presents. And it’s finally over! At left is a Firefly clock (which I really wanted to keep and hang in my game room!), a Calavera girl box for treasures and a pencil holder box made of grumpy cats. So much fun making these presents which all went to family members. I made many more things but they’ll take over my blog for the next couple of weeks if I show them all.

The small suitcase with your Gothic Girl is just so beautiful! I love this art very cool on small suitcases.
I wish you a wonderful new year, love, happiness, health, and always beautiful, glittering moments 🙂

Oh, I'm looking forward to the things you'll be showing us. These presents you made are awesome. I especially love the trinket box and the pencilholder. Did you paint all that or did you decoupage your own artwork? Either way, it looks great! Hope the next year will bring lots of creative joy to you ♥

I decoupaged my own artwork. Much easier for me to work in markers and ink on Bristol board, cut out and then paste. I made an owl box for my daughter and painted directly on the box and it took forever and was really hard with the odd shapes and angles. 🙂

Ahhh! What absolutely wonderful gifts!! Your family is very fortunate, they are amazing! Your digi stamps are also incredible. I'd love to do the 30 paintings challenge, but I am far too slow… I am definitely very much looking forward to seeing your pieces though!

I've checked often the 100 things to draw when I was out of ideas what to draw. They're so much fun! 🙂 Love your Christmas presents and thanks for the digi stamps. 🙂 Happy New Year 2014!

Lovely presents, your family members must be so pleased with them. There is nothing like a personally made present, created specifically for the recipient. It will be interesting to see your 30 paintings in 30 days. I don't think I could possible keep up with a challenge like that, so good luck, and I'll be back here regularly to see your work. Happy New Year.
